Tsisperi mtebi anu daudjerebeli ambawi

 A run-down building that houses a Tbilisi publishing house: the editors play chess or create intrigues, everything but reading manuscripts. A young staff member bursts into this socialist idyll with his first manuscript. After some time, the editorial board meets to discuss it, although no one has read it, and everyone simply agrees with what the previous person said: we have to talk about the manuscript. This satire on bureaucracy, conservatism, laziness and slackness in real-life socialism gradually builds into a surreal, absurdist parable via ever more ritualized-seeming repetitions.
